Monique Rousseau-Stewart was a volunteer for her son’s youth football team’s concession stand and was unsettled seeing how the boys would replenish their energy after rigorous exercise with junk food. “One day, I was like we have to do better,” she says. So, she brought out a blender. To her surprise, it was a hit. The kids enjoyed the taste and the parents loved the low prices.

Ms. Monique knew she wanted to expand these healthier options and today, Blendees strives to provide their community in El Cajon with nutritious, tasty, and affordable eats.
